Become a club member!

The Bethlehem Garden Club is a not-for-profit, all-inclusive community group for gardeners of all abilities - from novice to master level. You do not need to live in the Town of Bethlehem to join. See below for details!

Our Club's Missions Are:

Trowel

To enhance the beauty of our community through community gardens

Wheelbarrow

To conserve our precious natural resources and respect nature

Watering Can

To educate members and the community on gardening and environmental issues

Illustrated Plant

To provide financial grants to local groups working on gardens or environmental projects

How and when can I join?

The form provided on this page allows you to sign up immediately to become a Bethlehem Garden Club member! You can also attend one of our monthly meetings to join (information below). However you choose to join, we're happy to welcome you!

Is there a cost to join?

Please note the club requires a $40.00 annual membership fee when you sign up to join. Dues are collected annually for every member and help cover the many resources our club needs!

Choose your preferred way to pay your dues:

  • Bring cash to your first meeting,

  • Bring a check payable to Bethlehem Garden Club to your first meeting,

  • Mail a check payable to Bethlehem Garden Club to P.O. Box 485, Delmar, NY, 12054,

  • Pay using Venmo at BGC1965. *Use the PERSONAL setting, NOT business.*

When are club meetings?

Daytime Meetings: second Wednesday of every month from 12:45pm - 2:00pm. 

Evening Meetings: held from 7:00pm -8:30pm on the following upcoming dates:

  • Wednesday, November 2, 2022

  • Thursday, January 5, 2023

  • Thursday, February 2, 2023

  • Thursday, March 9 2023

Meetings are hosted at the Bethlehem Public Library's Community Room (unless otherwise noted). When Bethlehem School District & Library is closed due to inclement weather conditions, BGC meetings are canceled.

Once you join you will get a newsletter with full access to dates, programs and events and members are welcome to attend any that fits into their schedule. During these meetings we hear from local experts and speakers who feature their environmental education programs and more! Guests are always welcome, so bring a nature-loving friend!
